The technique for tightening them in place on the surface is to apply the required amount of torque to the nut while inserting and holding the key in the socket. If there is insufficient space on the surface for wrenches to create a hole for screws, these countersunk socket screws are used to keep the screws neatly seated on the surface and the structure smooth.
